How we know if Groq is down
Every 2 minutes LLM Live sends a real request to the Groq and measures whether it answers, how long the first token takes and how fast text streams. Three failed checks in a row mark it as down. We also read Groq's official status page every minute. Every few minutes we pull OpenRouter's success rate for the newest models served by Groq's own API; when most of them start failing, the status changes. Spikes in user reports on this page raise a warning even before the provider confirms an incident.
Groq not working but status is green?
Problems are sometimes limited to one region, account or feature. Try a hard refresh, sign out and in, check your network or VPN, and press “Groq isn't working for me” above — if many people do the same, the status changes here first.
